Hello, I'm Mia! I am twenty-four years old, and I am from New Jersey near the Philadelphia area. I am currently working towards my Art Teaching Certification through New Jersey's Alternate Route Program.  I am currently a Fine and Digital Arts Teacher at Camden Catholic High School. On the side, I have formed clientele as a Freelance Illustrator, Graphic Designer and Makeup Artist, and I have even started my own small fundraisers by selling my artwork and donating all of the proceeds to organizations I care about.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. I have a BFA in Illustration with a concentration in Surface Design. During my time at SCAD, I was a dedicated honor student, as well as an active member of SCAD Serve. I was also selected to be a student ambassador for the university. Previously, I was a recruited Division I rower for Rutgers University, so I am committed to being of service to my community. 

 

I specialize in all forms of traditional art, as well as digital softwares, such as Procreate, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop! I am a determined, diligent worker who has great passion for my craft and for my students' success! My goal is to make people of all ages smile, so I hope that I can make you smile, too!
